JOURNEY
ACCOMMODATING DIFFERENT NEEDS
At Journey UMC, we do not want anyone to be prevented from being part of our community because of barriers due to physical or medical limitations.  Accordingly, we have the following accommodations already in place.  If you need other accommodations not listed here, please speak with Pastor Mike and we will do our best to accommodate you.
HANDICAPPED PARKING
There are designated handicapped parking spaces in close proximity to the entrance to the worship space. There is additional parking behind the building on the same level as the worship space, simply drive past our main entrance and follow the gravel drive around to the back of the property.

Additionally, we have several wheelchairs to assist people from their cars and into the buildings, as well as volunteers ready to assist.
VISUAL AND HEARING IMPAIRMENTS
Most of the liturgy is projected in large print, as is most scripture that is being read.  In addition to having words and visuals projected, all people speaking use microphones and are amplified, as is all music, to assist with hearing.
ACCESSIBLE RESTROOMS
Our restrooms are handicapped accessible.
GLUTEN SENSITIVITY
We offer gluten-free communion.
ALCOHOL SENSITIVITY
As a United Methodist congregation, we use non-alcoholic grape juice for Communion.
