Small Group Bible Study: CreEd, Wednesdays at 6:15 pm
What do Christians believe? Why do they believe it? What does it matter? Those are the questions this study will look at. Using the Apostles' Creed as a format and based on the book Creed by Adam Hamilton, this study will look at the fundamental beliefs of Christianity. This study is appropriate for new Christians, more mature Christians who may not have done a systematic study of their faith and even non-Christians who wonder what it is all about. Please let us know you are interested so we are sure to have enough books. Our first meeting is January 11, 2017 at 6:15 pm. You can come early and join the JAM group for supper and some fun activities.
Economic Inequality--Information Coming Soon
Many are talking about income inequality--and not just the politicians.
In a world where over one billion people live on less than a dollar a day and the richest five individuals (yes, 5 individuals!) have wealth surpassing the combined economies of the poorest 37 nations (yes, that’s entire nations!), and in a country where, according to the New York Times, the "richest 1 percent in the United States now own more wealth than the bottom 90 percent," the church must respond.
Every voice is important as we look to a Christian's role in this important issue. Location varies.
The specifics of this group will be updated in 2017.

Fearless, MORE INFORMATION COMING SOON
Each sunrise seems to bring fresh reasons for fear.
They're talking layoffs at work, slowdowns in the economy, flare-ups in the Middle East, turnovers at headquarters, downturns in the housing market, upswings in global warming. The plague of our day, terrorism, begins with the word terror. Fear, it seems, has taken up a hundred-year lease on the building next door and set up shop. Oversized and rude, fear herds us into a prison of unlocked doors. Wouldn't it be great to walk out?
Imagine your life, wholly untouched by angst. What if faith, not fear, was your default reaction to threats? If you could hover a fear magnet over your heart and extract every last shaving of dread, insecurity, or doubt, what would remain? Envision a day, just one day, where you could trust more and fear less.
Tim Thomas will lead a new group that will study Max Lucado’s Fearless.
Can you imagine your life without fear?
